A 38-year-old Ballina man has been charged with assaulting a police officer during Operation Unite.
It’s alleged the man became violent after being refused entry to Henry Rous Hotel for being intoxicated.
He was charged with police assault, offensive conduct and malicious damage, while the officer received a small cut.
