Rugby league fans in Tamworth were treated to a visit from New South Wales State of Origin captain Paul Gallen today.
The Sharks star says he’s looking forward to his team’s pre-season clash with the Knights in the city this February.
“The boys are going really good, they’re coming together really well, and you know we’ve got a pretty strong side on paper next year, we’ve just got to put it together on the field and looking forward to coming to Tamworth.”
And he’s hoping some new additions will help bolster the side in 2013.
“Beau Ryan, Chris Heighington are going really well, Luke Lewis said he feels like a 20-year-old kid again he’s got a new lease on life, he loves living down there and he likes all the boys so yeah things are pretty positive at the moment.”
