More than 70 firefighters are continuing to battle a bushfire at Coomba Park, south-west of Forster.
The fire, which broke out on Wednesday afternoon, has torn through more than 1900 hectares.
While the blaze is yet to be contained, firefighters have strengthened control lines by backburning near Shallow Bay Road to protect properties.
Water-bombing helicopters and earth-moving equipment have also helped crews work on two spot fires in the Bachelor State Forest, west of the Wallingat River.
No homes are currently under threat.
