A racing yacht that was involved in a collision with another boat and sank off Newcastle last month has been raised from the seabed.
The two day operation to salvage the 9 metre timber craft “Woodstock” involved attaching airbags to the yacht to bring it back to the surface.
Woodstock has been towed back to the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club marina where it’ll be assessed for repairs.
