There’ll be more job opportunities for people living with disabilities in Port Macquarie, thanks to the long awaited expansion of the Willing and Able op-shop.
Months of hard work and community support paid off today as the ribbon was cut, and hundreds of people crowded the store looking for a bargain.
The Willing and Able Foundation gives adults with intellectual disabilities the chance for personal growth, with the op-shop currently employing five full time supported workers.
