A teenage girl has been banned from the Southport C-B-D after allegedly punching a Korean student up to 30 times, while trying to steal the woman’s mobile phone.
17-year-old Oriana Ruru was granted bail on a robbery charge this morning.
Police claim she and a male accomplice attacked the 28-year-old woman in Southport at around 9.30 last night, and ran off empty-handed, after a nearby road worker intervened.
The teen will be back in court in February.
