A 20-year-old man is clinging to life in hospital after being left for dead on the Gold Coast Highway, but exactly what happened to him remains a mystery.
A taxi driver found him lying in a bus lane early this morning.
“His parents have been advised, they’re up at the hospital with him, His injuries are quite serious, life threatening.”
Police initially thought it was a hit and run – they’re appealing for witnesses.
