A public meeting was held in Moree yesterday afternoon to give the community a chance
to respond to the state government’s decision to change the air carrier from Qantas Link to Brindabella Airlines at Moree Airport.
More than 130 residents attended the meeting to ask the Commercial Manager of Brindabella Airlines questions about the new service.
Moree Mayor Katrina Humphries says council is disappointed with the lack of consultation prior to the decision.
Council is encouraging residents to write letters to the Transport Minister’s office.
