GLENUGIE CONTINUES THEIR FIGHT AGAINST GAS

Police have moved to stop protests from getting out of hand at the site of a coal seam gas project in the Clarence Valley.

Glenugie residents claim they received no formal notification that exploration was to commence in their neighbourhood.

Despite police presence, residents remain adamant they will front up to the site every day until the works stop.

They’re concerned about the impact mining will have on the areas waterways.
