The final stages of Lismore’s new “our house” complex has received a boost, thanks to a $63,000 donation from the area’s Lions Clubs.
The welcomed donation will help furnish the 20-unit complex, designed to help those with cancer.
“The Lion’s donation has been amazing, it’ll allow us to buy all the beds for every unit, so all 40 single beds and all the lounges which are fold out double beds for every unit and tables and chairs”
The accommodation will open to patients by the end of the month.
