Two-time Olympian Alex Croak paid a visit to the mid north coast today, speaking to students about her career as a professional gymnast and diver.
The former Coffs Harbour resident is now an ambassador for the Premier’s Sporting Challenge, which aims to promote the importance of staying fit and active.
“It’s just all about really dedicating yourself to something that you love and for me it was gymnastics when I was young. I then got to follow that through with diving so I have been lucky. It’s just to show the kids that anything’s achievable if you really set your mind to it.”
During her visit she presented promising young athletes with awards, including the Premier’s Medal.
