With his partner in labour, a Gateshead Dad had just over ten minutes from when he rang the ambulance to when the couple’s newborn arrived.
Ambulance received the first call at 9.55am and by 10.06, the baby had been delivered by Dad with paramedics arriving about a minute later.
Paramedics gave Mum and bub a quick check up before transporting them in a healthy condition to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
