Translink has taken its cue from the great tourist cities of the world releasing a Go Card for visitors, but it may be a bit rich for some.
The SEEQ card offers an adult unlimited travel over three consecutive days for 79 dollars, a five day card will set you back 129 dollars.
That’s more than twice the price of similar cards in London and Paris.
However, the card does include a return train trip to Brisbane Airport, and discounts at 70 attractions.
“This ticket is designed to encourage people to use our tourism attractions especially here on the Gold Coast and take the train and use products like dreamworld here”
The government will review the card’s popularity in a couple of months.
