BERNARD TOMIC FRONTS COURT

Tennis star Bernard Tomic has been placed on a 12 month good behaviour bond and fined a thousand dollars, following a run-in with police in his high-powered B-M-W on the Gold Coast last Australia Day.
Tomic breached the conditions of a “P” plate licence, and failed to stop for police.
A court rejected his claim he was confused.
“It was a bit of a misunderstanding ya know. I’m really glad it’s over, it’s been really difficult for my tennis and myself”
Tomic blames the incident for his form slump, and says he’s now aiming to make the world top ten.
