Ex-Wallaby’s Elton Flatley and Wendell Sailor swapped the footy for a cricket ball in the Bulls Masters Twenty-20 clash this afternoon.
The rugby greats helped six former international cricketers in the friendly against a Gold Coast Invitational side.
The game – the highlight of a four day tour of the Gold Coast by the Bulls Masters Squad to help foster cricket in the region.
“To have these legends of hte game come back and raise funds and see all the kids faces doing all the cricket clinics out there. there were thousands of kids out there, its just great for the sport.”
And while they might be classified as ‘masters’ now, these sporting greats showed they can still put their bodies on the line for a win.
