An M1 gunman who fired at a stranger’s car in a random attack, has been jailed for four years and lost his licence forever.
The Brisbane Supreme Court heard 29-year-old Mahan Gheisari had been trying to engage a driver and his female passenger in a highway dispute.
When they ignored him, he pulled out a gun and shot out the car’s rear window.
The woman was injured by flying glass, the bullet later discovered under her seat.
The court heard she’s still traumatised by the random attack.
Gheisari will be eligible for parole in May next year.
