Duffs Bridge will be closed for the next eight days while it’s replaced with a new concrete base.
It’s part of Greater Taree City Council’s $7-million works to reconstruct the Marlee and Duffs bridges.
For years, both have been in a state of disrepair and have required load limits.
The works should improve safety and access to Bulga Road.
