And to help those facing hardship in the Manning Valley, Greater Taree City Council held its annual ‘Community Connect Day’ at Taree’s PCYC.
The day brings vital support organisations under one roof, giving people access to health, financial and housing services.
Also on offer were free haircuts and a hot lunch.
