Firefighters continue to battle an out-of-control bush fire which has burnt 29,000 hectares of land west of Kempsey.
The fire, which is 70 kilometres west of the town, is the result of two large fires that started on Thursday and merged over the weekend.
Five water-bombing helicopters have joined about 80 firefighters in an effort to contain the blaze.
