Two men have been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital by the Westpac Rescue helicopter following an industrial accident in Taree this morning.
The men aged in their 20s and 30s were working at the Stebercraft boat building factory, when a lifting jib suspending a boat mould gave way, dropping the apparatus about one metre.
The men were pushed to the floor, one with a knock to the head, the other was struck near the neck.
Both men were conscious and have been sent to Newcastle as a precaution.
Workcover is investigating.
