A Catholic priest accused of covering up sexual abuse by a fellow clergyman at a Hunter high school, has died before the claims could be tested in court.
Father Tom Brennan was unable to attend court recently due to ill health.
The 74-year-old was also facing charges of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old boy at a church at Waratah in 1984 and 1985.
