The Richmond Local Area Command has welcomed two new probationary constables to the area.
Constable Matthew Atkinson begins work in Ballina and Constable Christopher Booker in Casino.
“It’s exactly where I wanted to go and it was my first preference. It took a bit of work to get here but yeah finally here.”
Both men were born and bred in the area.
“I grew up all my life in Lismore so it should be good, I know the area pretty good.”
“It’s great to welcome to the two new offices on board, they’re young, local officers so they’ve come here with a lot of enthusiasium, it’s great to get some new blood into the command.”
