The victim of an alleged bashing in Casino has died in hospital.
52-year-old, Peter Morris, was found lying unconsious on Barker Street earlier this month, after allegedly being punched in the head.
He was taken to Gold Coast Hospital in a critical condition, but died on Monday after his life support was switched off.
The 53-year-old Casino man charged over the incident has had his charges upgraded to murder.
He’ll front Lismore Local Court, early next week.
