ACCESSORY CHARGES DROPPED IN RIXON CASE
The two women charged with offences relating to the murder of slain policeman David Rixon have fronted Tamworth Local Court today.
Sharon Strudwick appeared in person, and had her charge of ‘accessory after the fact’ dropped.
The same charge against Monica Sampson was also dropped, as she appeared via audio video link.
Both women still face a number of charges over the incident, including perverting the course of justice.
The pair will reappear in court next month, while Rixon’s alleged killer Michael Allan Jacobs will face court in November.
