Police are hunting at least one man after a series of break and enters at a Port Stephens retirement home.
Port Stephens police went to the retirement village on Grevillea Court, The Grange around 11pm after a report four units had been broken in to while the occupants were inside. Several items were discoverd missing.
One of the occupants confronted the thief in a garage who then ran from the scene.
A seach of the area involving police dogs failed to find the intruder.
