Staff at two Newcastle shopping centres were cleaning up today, after early morning ram raids.
Police say thieves driving a stolen Mitsubishi Triton smashed in the front door of a chemist at Maryland Shopping Centre, and attempted to steal a safe.
A short time later, they targeted an automatic teller machine at Wallsend Plaza.
In both cases they left empty-handed.
These places are both just down the road from me.. Considering the fact that bi-lo was broken into once and the bakery as well doesn’t shock me that again this would happen
