FOUR CHARGED OVER ALLEGED TAMWORTH DRUG SUPPLY

Four men have been charged as a result of a police operation targeting the commercial supply of illicit drugs in the Tamworth area.
Police arrested the men in Freemans Waterhole near Lake Macquarie around midday yesterday.
Two motor vehicles were also seized.
The men, aged between 33 and 49, were charged with a range of offences, including supplying a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug, knowingly deal with the proceeds of crime, and knowingly participate in a criminal group.
Quantities of drugs and cash were allegedly seized at properties in Tamworth, Caroona and Quipolly following the arrests.
