HIGH RISE GUN COMMITTAL DATE SET
After months of delay, a committal hearing date has now been set for Rick El Masri, who’s accused of firing a gun from a high rise balcony in Surfers Paradise.
One of the bullets struck Hylton Miller, who’d been walking along the Esplanade with his family.
The hearing was originally set for July, but fell through, and will now be held next January.
That’s despite three witnesses still waiting on the Attorney General to decide whether to grant them indemnity.
