Tweed fire fighters are battling a large bush fire west of Casuarina. It stated around six this morning and came close to homes. It jumped containment lines on Tweed Coast Way around 11am and is now moving close to homes in Kingscliff. The fire is being fanned by gusty southerlies. Conditons are extremely dry.
