PUBLIC URGED TO COMMENT ON PROPOSED CLARENCE CROSSINGS

The Roads and Maritime Service is seeking community feedback on six short-listed crossings for the Clarence River at Grafton.

A development report, which includes the designs, has been released, and is available for download on the RMS website.

The Grafton Bridge, which was built in the 1930’s, is currently the only crossing over the Clarence River at Grafton, and is struggling to support the flow of traffic.

The public has until October 10 to comment.
