The Director of Public Prosecutions has decided not the go ahead with proceedings,against the police officer involved in the fatal shooting of a man in Armidale.
Elijah Holcome was shot in 2009 after an altercation with police.
An inquest into the incident was suspended in March last year, and the matter was referred to the DPP to determine if Senior Constable Andrew Rich could be charged with murder or manslaughter.
The matter will now go before the coroner.
