Police are appealing for assistance after a girl was approached by a man in Bellingen yesterday.
At about 5pm an 11-year-old girl was walking along William Street when a blue station wagon drove past her.
Police have been told a man got out of the car and chased the girl down the road where she was able to make her way home.
He’s described as being aged about 20, 180 centremetres tall with light brown hair.
