BACK TO BACK THROSBY GIFT TITLES FOR NEPEAN

Nepean has won back to back Throsby Gift Relays, becoming the first rowing club from outside the Hunter to achieve the feat.

Nepean was led by brother Jason and Daniel Waddell, who are also head coaches at the club.

The race is a relay event involving a double, four and quad crew, and is the feature event at the Central Districts Sprint Championships, held at Carrington.

The Newcastle Rowing Club was looking to win the relay for the first time in four years, as they celebrated the 20th running of the Championships.
