TOWNS IN CLIMATE CHANGE FIRING LINE

Two towns in the North West have been named among the top 20 in the state most vulnerable to climate change by 2050.
Ashford and Bundarra took out 10th and 11th spots respectively, in a report conducted by the University of Adelaide.
Only communities located more than 50-kilometres from the coast were assessed.
Towns were judged on both their exposure and sensitivity to climate change, as well as their ability to adapt.
White Cliffs in the state’s west topped the list as potentially the worst-affected country town in Australia.
