The ‘Tourist Drive 8 Action Group’ handed over its petition to state MP Andrew Stoner today, in a push to reclassify two Manning Valley roads from local to regional roads.
Bulga and Colling Roads are the main gateways for Ellenborough Falls… the major attraction off the tourist drive.
Both are badly damaged with landslips and potholes, and need to be reclassified to secure extra funding.
The local action group has gathered close to 3,000 signatures on its petition, which Mr Stoner will pass on to Roads Minister, Duncan Gay.
