Lismore City Council will ask the state government to bring forward funding, so it can repair the shire’s most damaged roads.
At last night’s meeting, councillors voted to contact Roads and Maritime Services to negotiate speeding up the payment process.
If successful, Dunnon, Whyralla and Blue Knob roads are first in line for repairs.
