A young koala found in peculiar circumstances near Gunnedah, has shown a real fighting spirit.
The four-month-old joey was seen hanging from a horse’s mane at a local farm.
It’s not known how she got there – or where her mother is – but she’s now in safe hands at the nearby Waterways Wildlife Park.
Nicknamed ‘Maney’, carers hope to return her to the wild in eight months.
