GOLD COAST PETROL PRICES HAVE MOTORISTS ON A HIGH

Gold Coast petrol prices continue to be the envy of interstate travellers, hovering around the $1.20 mark.
“I’m from Canberra, we pay $1.60 a litre ridiculous isn’t it.”
“I still have half a tank but I thought oh it’s cheap anyway I just stick it in.”
The city has enjoyed the dramatic price drop from nearly $1.50 a litre two weeks ago, and that’s despite school holidays in at least three Australian states.
“Normally I would cost me about $120-$130. I’m pretty well empty this will probably be around $70.”
But experts are warning the low prices are simply too good to last.
