OVER 200 PLAYERS EXPECTED TO TURNOUT FOR ACROPOLIS CUP

Men and women from across the region will lace-up their boots in Inverell this weekend, all vying for the 20-18 Acropolis Cup.

It’s the first time the sapphire city has hosted the two-day tournament, with the competition expected to attract more than 200 players.

The Acropolis Cup was introduced back in the 1960’s, with women competing for the first time at last year’s carnival in their own edition.
