The Gold Coast search for an Irish kayaker has been called off after police found no sign of the man.
Witnesses say they saw him attempting to kayak in Lake Orr on Thursday night, when he disappeared.
Water police used sonar equipment to scour the area behind the Bond University campus all weekend.
We are looking today to scaling that right back… and consider suspending and terminating the search
Police have not received reports of anyone missing.
