A team from the Hunter competed against 10 other teams from across the globe to knit a jumper in the fastest time.
Described as the olympics of knitting and spinning, the race starts with the wool being shorn, it’s spun, then a frantic knit to the finish line.
The Newcastle spinning Knitwits took silver, while the Netherlands took top honours.
