Cabarita’s Brittany Nicholl has taken out the All Girls Surf Showdown Open Pro at Lennox Head this afternoon.
In other category’s, 11 year-old Alyssa Lock out maneuvered her competition to take out both the under 14’s and 16s finals.
The Tweed Heads local definitely one to watch.
“It was heaps of fun surfing with all the girls, it was just I was more putting a goal for my self to see how good I surfed.”
But it wasn’t smooth sailing for all competitors and unfortunately they won’t get a second chance at a title.
After 20 years, today marked the final time the competition will be held.
