The former lover of a woman found dead in the boot of a car in Newcastle last year, will be sentenced in July.
Marcus John Lee appeared via video link in Newcastle Local Court today, and pleaded guilty to the murder of Trisha Cobeanou.
The 27-year-old’s badly decomposed body was found in a car boot at Lambton, three weeks after she was reported missing.
Autopsy results revealed she was strangled.
32-year-old Lee will be sentenced in the New South Wales Supreme Court on July 6.
