Buses are replacing trains between Hamilton and Fassifern after a fire on a freight train at Cardiff early this morning.
The blaze broke out on board the train at around 5am this morning.
Passengers from a nearby passenger train had to be evacuated while Fire and Rescue NSW crews extinguished the fire.
The goods train remains on the tracks.
