Olympic Beach Volleyball champion, Natalie Cook has enjoyed a day of pampering at The Hilton ahead of the final stages of an 18-month effort to qualify for her 5th Olympic games.
“I head to Russia, to Italy to China and then hopefully home for another week where I’ll find myself back here before I get ready to go to London.”
The 37 year old who won Gold at Sydney, keeps a constant reminder of her quest nearby in the shape of a gold volleyball and says China will be the team to beat.
“They got the silver and bronze in Beijing and their number one China team is number one in the world at the moment.”
Cook heads overseas next week.
