A Coffs Harbour man who killed another man with a baseball bat could be released from jail as early as next year.
29-year-old Shain Richard Williams, pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Rodney Jenkins in 2009.
Williams struck the 59-year-old at the Clog Barn Holiday Park, when Mr Jenkins attempted to intervene in an argument.
Williams was sentenced in a Sydney court last week to six years imprisonment with a non-parole period of three years and nine months.
With time already served, he could be released by July next year.
