It could be another year before it’s clear what Hunter Water will do with land it acquired for the now cancelled Tillegra Dam.
A consultant will develop a long term land use strategy for the Williams River Valley.
Hunter Water purchased 46 properties in the area covering 6000 hectares.
Negotiations are underway with some former owners to buy back their land.
