Police say lower crowd numbers at this year’s Nimbin Mardi Grass festival helped contribute to the improved behaviour of revellers.
Thousands visited the village on Saturday to promote the legalisation of cannabis.
Police say they are still disappointed though, with many taking the festival too far.
105 people were found with illegal drugs.
“We get the message out that we do take a zero tolerance to drugs, even though thats the aim of the festival, but still people try to get past us”
