The iconic Saltwater Freshwater festival will once again return to Taree, after it was cancelled earlier this year.
It was due to take place on Australia Day, but persistent bad weather forced organisers to make the call.
The event, which celebrates indigenous culture, normally moves to a new location on the mid north coast each year.
Organisers say overwhelming support from the community led to their decision to return to Taree.
