Coffs Harbour’s Plantation Hotel has been added to the state government’s Violent Venues List for the first time.
A report released by Deputy Premier Troy Grant says there were 16 violent incidents at the Hotel in the past year.
Out of 13 venues statewide, the Plantation Hotel is now ranked third for incidents behind Sydney’s Ivy Hotel and the Beachcomber at Toukley.
As a result, from June, the Planto will have to stop serving alcohol 30 minutes before closing time and will have to use unbreakable containers after midnight.
